Alexandra and the Keys Mystery
A surreal novel where the protagonist, a healer, finds herself surrounded
by good and evil and her dream
is to help all people with whom she comes in contact to take charge of
their lives. The antagonist, however, believes if people learn how to
take charge of their lives it will mean the end of the world – at least
his cushiony little part of it. Therefore, at all costs, the healer must
be stopped! Click for more.

An
Excerpt from the book:
I
believe you deserve to live the American Dream! This includes taking
charge of your life, making a difference in the world – and having
and doing what you want when you want. You need only employ a simple
secret that is not really a secret – but it’s so simple it is too often
overlooked. Not only is it simple, it’s also quite obvious! In
fact, chances are you already know how to do it!
That,
however, doesn’t mean you’ve nothing more to learn here. After all,
if you don’t happen to be taking charge of your life – or making the
difference you’d like to make – or having/doing what you want to do
when you want to do it – (ahh! you’re still with me!) – then
it doesn’t matter that you’ve already heard or read about the proven
techniques I’m going to share with you. Why?
Because more than likely – you are not using them!

PROLOGUE
Alexandra Jaxson is a born healer – and must be protected. Her two
shape-shifting cats, Taz (Tequerus) and Tony
(Zafaron) are sworn to keep
her safe, despite challenges from more than one antagonist. Chief among
the detractors is Nemlive Associates, dedicated to promoting the dark
side of humanity and creating a negative master race. This group lures
her brother, Thomas, into its ranks. Alexandra’s older sister, Shelby,
is a victim of pulmonary cystic fibrosis (PCF), a dread and often fatal
disease. The young healer desperately wants to bring about a cure that
will end her beloved sibling’s suffering.
Kym, Alexandra’s mother, marries Benjamin Lindsay when her marriage
to the children’s father, Willard Thomas Jaxson, is dissolved, and the
family moves from Southern California to Pine Valley, a remote village
on California’s North Central Coast. In an internet search attempt to
learn more about his wife’s ex, Ben learns he has known Willard, AKA
Jackson Thomas Willard, AKA Jackson Thomas Wakefield, II, since they
were boys growing up in Southern California. Their respective great-grandfathers,
Benjamin Elijah Lindsay and Jackson Thomas Wakefield,
Senior, were long-time
friends, but the senior Lindsay stayed on the straight and narrow – while
the senior Wakefield from the beginning took an easy though dishonest
route through life.
Convinced by unsavory early experiments with animals and thus encouraged
that he could succeed, Wakefield Senior has pursued his dream to create
a master race fostering negative convictions. He has created an underground
fertility clinic. As luck and coincidence would have it, the subject
of one of Wakefield Senior’s fertility experiments was Ben’s mother who,
with her husband, disappeared when she pursued being inseminated at the
facility. Ben, approaching 40 years of age, has not yet discovered that
Willard’s great-grandfather was ultimately responsible for the disappearance
of his parents when he was two years old.
Ultimately, Willard involves his son, Thomas, in his dark schemes with
Nemlive Associates. This puts Alexandra and her other family members
in jeopardy, though she refuses to believe her brother is so evil. Alexandra’s
dream is to help all people with whom she comes in contact to take charge
of their lives. Willard, however, believes if people learn how to take
charge of their lives it will mean the end of the world – at least his
cushiony little part of it. Therefore, at all costs, Alexandra must be
stopped!
