I know all about trouble – how to get in it – how to get out of it – how to get other people in or out of it! I say: Go for the laugh! My precious partner Love insists, as the song says: What the world needs now is Love sweet Love –  and that’s true, as far as it goes. But what the world really needs a whole lot more of is laughter!  Even if it’s at another person’s expense, so long as it’s all in fun. After all, almost any joke usually is at somebody’s expense. Love and I have been partners for a long time. Dear Love is always good! But my philosophy is: I didn’t do it, nobody saw me do it, nobody can prove a thing!  I’m in it for the fun!

 

Trouble is everywhere. I know when people are in trouble, what they often need is just a little attitude adjustment. I can turn their lemons into lemon meringue pie – if they let me. The fact is, very often a person merely perceives what’s happening as trouble. When I give that confused perception a little tweak, doors open! The mind goes outside the box and focuses on happiness! So I say: Go for the laugh! When you laugh you bring more cheer into the world. And the more cheer you bring into the world the more you Pump Up the Pep!
